Whats the difference between tao and mage?

difference is that tao is taoist and mage is mage XD

tao is a party support mage is soloist

Each class is good in their own way and it doesn't really matter which class a player is as long as he knows what he's doing.  That's like when I hear that warriors are the best for luring, but I have seen mages lure just as well, priests too.  It's not about the class, it's about the player and how good they are.

Besides, taoists are not a solo class, they depend on their pets.  And any class can do well whether in a team or alone.

In fact, in some ways priests make fantastic lurers due to being able to heal. It is really down to personal preference. There are partys of support for all classes.
